Our desire to create stunning bespoke accessories has been passed down through generations. Since 1786, we have taken pride in every detail of each of our products. From initial idea to design and final creation, all of our products are meticulously hand-crafted in our Birmingham based factory in the United Kingdom. Based in the heart of Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, our workshop stands proud amongst some of the best jewellers and retail stores in the United Kingdom.

Known for their wide range of cufflinks, as designers and manufacturers of jewellery, Deakin & Francis also provide a full bespoke service. This can involve creating special one-off pieces, or adapting existing, often inherited jewellery into desirable keepsakes to cherish.

Our in-house designers begin by mapping out an idea, using drawings and storyboards, how the finished piece will look. Consideration is given to the metal type (alloy), colour, shape, weight, movements and most importantly, how our jewellery will sit and be worn.

As masters in the art of design, we employ tools, traditions and techniques passed down from one generation to the next. Using specialist craftspeople for different stages of the jewellery design, creation and manufacturing process.
