After serving some of the best shoemakers of the world for nearly 60 years, Turms was born in 2009, out of the family business Formificio Veregra. Its aim is to produce excellence while preserving a precious cultural heritage: craftsmanship in danger of extinction. Turms wants to create something great and genuine, making things with love that have real value.
Their name and their symbol, Turms, is chosen after the messenger of the Etruscan gods and the protector of travelers, for his winged sandals and for the Etruscans teachings. Turms acted as an intermediary between the upper world and the underworld, between humans and the gods, and between the gods themselves.

Turms - Classic Shoe Trees
Wooden shoe trees are handcrafted in Le Marche, Italy, to their own design, from the finest Italian wood from the Sibillini Mountain National Park. They are cut from selected timber, distinguished by a woodworking process that lasts for a minimum of 18 months. The moisture is removed from the wood in order to maintain its characteristics without causing damages. Turms only use timber from trees grown in this park respecting their natural life cycle. Turms only use: Beechwood, Ashwood, Limewood and Maple.

Turms - Travel Shoe Trees
Turms Travel Shoe Trees are designed to fit along with our shoe polish cream and shoe brush so that, when you travel, you have full shoe care set with you.
They are made from selected light wood, distinguished by a woodworking process that lasts for a minimum of 18 months. The moisture is removed from the wood in order to maintain its characteristics without causing damage to it.
Shoetrees are available in Small (size 5 – 9) and Large (size 9 1⁄2 – 12).
There are two screw regulators and a spring to adjust the width and one telescopic brass stem to adjust the length, to fit different models and sizes.
Personalization is available at an extra cost of 30 EUR.
